Processing technique

This piece was carved and engraved using the undercut technique. This technique consists in digging the outline of the figure not only at a square, i.e. at ninety degrees as is normally used, but also behind the outlines of the figure. In this way it is possible to create greater relief in the composition, thanks to the effect of the shadows.
